Portrait of Ian Reynolds

Ian Reynolds

Ian Reynolds was paramedic at the New Addington ambulance station in Croydon. He passed away on Tuesday 21 April 2020.

A principle liaison between London Ambulance Service and Croydon care homes, as well as a member of the Selhurst Park matchday medical crew, Ian Reynolds had been a paramedic for 32 years.

Described as a “wise, experienced and popular man” who was professional, reliable, calm and always smiling. A colleague in Crystal Palace’s medical team called him the “best friend you could wish for”, adding that he was “the complete package and an absolute joy to work with.”

He is remembered for being able to relate to everyone he came across and for always having time to help those around him.

In Reynolds is survived by his wife and two sons, one of whom is also a member of the CPFC pitch-side stretcher crew.

Our thoughts go out to his family.

We will remember Ian Reynolds.
