Brian Darlington was a porter with Mid Cheshire Hospitals. He passed away in April after testing positive for COVID-19.
Known for his sense of humour and positive outlook on life, Brian Darlington dedicated over 20 years to the trust during his NHS career.
He was said to have been a hard worker who was always happy to do whatever was needed of him and is fondly remembered for always being found walking around hospital with “a smile on his face passing out sweets to colleagues”.
Chief Executive James Summer called him a treasured member of team at Mid Cheshire and said he would be sadly missed by all who knew and worked with him.
Our thoughts go out to his family.
We will remember Brian Darlington.
