Barbara Moore was a patient discharge planner at Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool. She passed away on Monday 6 April 2020 after testing positive for COVID-19.
Barbara Moore became a patient discharge planner, helping ensure patients safely left the hospital, after having spent most of her career as a care worker for people with disabilities.
Described as an ‘unsung hero’, she was said to have dedicated her life to caring for others, both at the hospital and at home where she doted on her children and grandchildren.
A spokesperson for her family said, “Barbara was a much-loved wife, mum, nan, sister, auntie, friend and a beautiful person.”
Our thoughts go out to her family.
We will remember Barbara Moore.
